Coach Fayant is a dedicated leader in the distance running community, bringing years of experience as both an accomplished athlete and coach. A standout at Mead High School in Spokane, he placed second at the 2000 state cross country meet and helped secure league, regional, and state titles for his team.

He continued his running career at the University of Washington, specializing in the steeplechase with a personal best of 9:26.12 while competing in cross country and track.

Coach Fayant’s coaching journey includes roles as an assistant cross country coach at Wenatchee High School and assistant track coach at Chelan High School. Most recently, he served as Head Cross Country Coach at Quincy High School, where he guided his team to a 2nd place CWAC finish in 2024–25.

He believes in consistency, character, and long-term growth, mentoring student-athletes to succeed on and off the course. Eastmont is excited to welcome Coach Fayant and his passion for building champions and leaders.
