Coach Chang graduated from St. Maries High school in 1990. During his High School career in

Idaho, he placed twice at state. He loved the sport of wrestling and decided to coach it. He

helped start a club called Mat Cats in 1999. He then started to volunteer for the club from 1999-

2006. He also became a USA wrestling coach in 2000-2006. Then he decided to further his

coaching career and volunteered at the Eastmont Junior high school from 2007-2009. He then

moved up to Eastmont High School and was a High School boys’ assistant coach from 2010-

2014. Coach Chang was offered a new position for a women’s head wrestling coach. He

accepted the position and became the woman’s head wrestling coach from 2015-present.

Coach Chang received an award called the College Basin Big Nine Coach of the Year in 2019-

2020. Coach Chang also enjoys being outside and having barbecues with his family and

friends.
